Freshmen

Paityn High

Paityn joined the Trailblazer girls team as an 8th grader and earned six wins in her first season.  She will be one of our wrestlers in the introductory weight class! She was champion at the Freddie Classic and 2nd at Delaware Dempsey. Her sister Natalee is a junior on the Pioneer girls team.

Sarah Amonette

Sarah competed for the Trailblazers in 7th grade and at Berlin MS as an 8th grader.  Her off-season work has been consistent, as she went from 7-15 to 29-10 in her two middle school seasons.  She placed 2nd at Alexander and Delaware, 3rd at River Valley and Best of the Midwest, 4th at Tinora and 6th at Watkins.  In addition, she finished 5th in OHWAY state and 2nd in Ohio's U14 freestyle state tournament.

Addie McJunkin

Addi joined the Orange Trailblazer girls team as an 8th grader and won five matches in her opening year.  She is a hard worker and it shows in the off-season camp.  Addi also plays on the girls lacrosse team.

Wren Monroe

Wren joined the Orange Trailblazers as an 8th grader and it was the perfect transition from her taekwondo background.  In her martial art, she is a second degree black belt and assistant instructor.  Wren had a great year one, winning seven matches and placing 4th at Delaware Dempsey Invitational. Wren has excellent balance and strength, and has a great future.  She also plays alto sax for the Marching Pioneers. 

Deviney McMillen

Deviney competed as a member of Olentangy Fire in 6th grade and as a member of Trailblazers her last two years.  She was 17-14 in 7th and jumped to 26-8 as an 8th grader.  She was 2nd at the Jags Classic, 2nd at the Freddie Classic, 2nd at Delaware Dempsey and 2nd at Iron Maiden. Dev was runner-up in Youth OAC in 2022, then made the blood round in each of the last two OAC middle school events.  She is also in the band, and plays soccer and lacrosse.

Lauren Lindsey

Lauren joined the Trailblazer girls team in 8th grade and quickly figured out the sport, winning 10 matches in her opening season.  She has a very high ceiling in the sport!  Lauren placed 5th at the Freddie Classic at Fredericktown HS.  She also is a member of the softball team.

Izzie McDermott

Big jumps over the last two years for Izzie, as she went from 2 wins in 7th grade to 19-13 as an 8th grader.  She was 5th at the Freddie Classic, 4th at Delaware Dempsey and 5th at Iron Maiden.  One of the most improved wrestlers, across all levels of the program.  She stays busy in the off-season with camps, tournaments and club workouts.  Izzie also rides horses in her free time.

Madi Ford

Madi enters her 3rd year of wrestling, starting in 7th grade for the Trailblazer girls team.  In her first year, she won 9 matches, but as an 8th grader, jumped to a 23-9 record.  She was champion at Jags Classic, 2nd at Watkins Memorial, 2nd at the Freddie Classic and 2nd at Delaware Dempsey.

Emma Garrison

Emma started wrestling in 8th grade and had a great season, winning 11 matches for the Trailblazer girls.  She was 3rd at the Freddie Classic, 3rd at Delaware Dempsey and 4th at Iron Maiden.  She also finished 4th at the OAC Girls State Tournament, getting on the podium in her first season.  Emma plays softball for Orange and her brother, Ryan, is a member of the boy's team.
